First, the USQRA Nationals heat it up, then the U.S. team hits the floor in preparation for taking on the world in Beijing 2008.


Bryan Kirkland (Lakeshore) passes over Phoenix defender Andy Cohn. Lakeshore moved on to the D-I final.
In "Mile-High Magic," Ed "Hoops" Hooper (and his para buddy, Spokes Ableman), report on the 20th edition of the U.S. Quad Rugby Association Nationals, held in Louisville. As the headline suggests, the Denver Harlequins, led by tourney MVP Chance Sumner, took the D-I title. Read about both the D-I and D-II action. Photos by Mark Cowan.

In "China on Their Minds," Marvin Olberding says that Team USA head coach James Gumbert stresses fundamentals in intense practice sessions for the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing, China, but still encourages input from team members.
