Prepping for Vancouver

Athletes have trained and are ready to go for the gold at the upcoming Winter Paralympics.


U.S. Adaptive Ski Team member Tyler Walker won gold at the first-ever Mono Skier X competition at the World X Games in January 2009 at Aspen Buttermilk resort.

The 2010 Paralympic Winter Games will feature 5 sports—alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, sled hockey, and wheelchair curling—in 64 medal events. Roughly 600 athletes and officials are expected to take part in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, March 12-21.
